Paul you were a husband, father, uncle, friend and a much loved brother too. The problems, you would work them out, the laughing happy times it was you who would make us smile. You loved the outdoors and your garden too. So God looked around his garden where he saw a very special place, he then looked down upon earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you up to rest. God's garden is such a special place; it has to be he always takes the best. He knew you were suffering, he knew you were in pain, he knew how scared you were, he knew that despite your every effort you would never be well again. He saw that the road was getting to rough and the hills had turned to mountains and become far too hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids and whispered let peace be thine. It broke our hearts to lose you but you didn't go alone for part of us went with you. In life we all loved you dearly and in death we do the same. You left us peaceful fond memories so that we may reflect and smile with you again and throughout our lives your love will always be our guide. We cannot see you now but you will always be at our side. Thank you Paul for just having been there it made our lives worthwhile now you go and rest in peace we will always miss you. With love and fondest memories Graham and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing you xxxxxxxxxxx

We can shed tears because they have gone,
or we can smile because they have lived
We can close our eyes and pray they will come back,
Or we can open our eyes and see all they have left.
Our hearts can be empty because we cannot see them
or we can be full of the love we have shared.
We can turn our backs on tomorrow and live for yesterday,
Or we can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
We can remember them and only that they have gone,
or we can cherish their memory and let it live on.
We can cry, close our minds,be empty and turn our backs,
Or we can do what they"d want
Smile, open our eyes, love and go on.
